Gingerbread House

Another Christmas tradition . . . the gingerbread house. This year, we got the kit from Costco . . . I will never do anything else! Easy, complete, and darling--thank you Costco!

Sledding Fun

Once again, what would the winter season be without a sledding trip? We headed up to the hill behind the elementary school to join half the families in our neighborhood for sledding fun. This was Emma's first experience sledding, and, as you can tell from the pictures, she loved it. Shaylee "dudded out" on us (typical), and I was mostly there as camera woman, although I started at the bottom of the hill a couple times with Aspen and Connor.

Temple Square

What would Christmas be without a visit to Temple Square? The beauty, the peace, and the symbols of the season found there truly turn our hearts to Christ and remind us why we celebrate. It was bitter cold this year, but we bundled up and enjoyed the time together.
