Devin

A couple photos of Devin over the past couple of months. First, at the Court of Honor in October he received his Tenderfoot, Second, and First Class ranks in Scouts. Below that are some pictures of him playing soccer, and Connor and I watching the game. Devin is truly an amazing soccer player, and we love to watch him. He's decided against playing basketball this winter but is holding out for spring soccer. Go Dev!

First, our hike up Benny's Creek in Payson Canyon on July 3 for our Friday Field Trip (we hiked with Alicia & Jonathan and had a great time!).




Dennis and Shaylee got to join Devin at Camp Maple Dell (also up Payson Canyon) for the family night at his scout camp:

Arrow of Light

Devin received his Arrow of Light (the highest award in Cub Scouts) at our pack meeting in April. His Uncle Ron (Dennis' brother-in-law) came down from Logan to perform a special ceremony that was awesome!!!

He told the history of the Arrow of Light award . . .

and presented him to the audience.

Dennis and I were able to present him with the award.

Then Ron presented Devin with a beautiful arrow plaque he made.

I was so proud (and Devin was so excited--can't you tell?).

Friends and family came to celebrate the occasion (Aspen was so excited all to have two of her grandmas & papas there).

Thanks to all those who made this a memorable occasion for Devin and helped him along his cub scouting trail. We love you!
