Kennedy Space Center

Sorry no pics yet, but I've got free wi-fi, so I thought I'd post and let y'all know that the Kennedy Space Center was AWESOME. The IMAX movie was a lot of fun (it was especially cute to watch Aspen reaching for the M&M's the astronauts were eating at the space station), then we tried out the shuttle launch simulator experience--whoa! I don't know if my cheeks will ever be the same after all that shaking (my SIL was in the observation room & said it was hilarious to see us all shaking in sync). Anyway, we took a bus tour out to see the launch pads (too bad we missed the launch on the 14th, but we may make it back for the landing on the 29th). Aspen finally crashed on the ride back and I got to carry my "baby" in my arms for about an hour (serious killer) before our shuttle came to take us back to the hotel.

We had a lot of fun today, but we were worn out by the end of the day and ready to head back to the hotel for some dinner & the hot tub. So the poor kids got leftover pizza from last night, and Dennis and I went to this amazing Indian restaurant (Punjab) to celebrate our anniversary (which was yesterday, but we spent that on a plane to Orlando). Anyway, Happy Anniversary babe! I love you!

And yes, for the record, I have been crying since I left my sweet Connor with grandma and grandpa yesterday. Yes, I know he's in good hands, but it's tough. I cried on the way to the airport, burst into tears at dinner tonight, but I think I'm mostly holding it together, and the kids are having WAAAAY too much fun with cousins, etc. Wahoo! Nothing more for at least a week while we enjoy fun in the sun and daily Disney.
