Welcome Baby Maren

She's here! Maren Patricia finally decided to enter this world one week after her due date, and her relieved parents (Wendy and Nick) couldn't be happier. See their blog for full details . . . I'll give an abbreviated version. Wendy had a lot of contractions Friday night and started leaking a little (she's suspicious her water may have broken, but it's easily controlled with pads). She comes to the temple Saturday morning for Alicia's sealing (still leaking). Stays for a couple photos (proof she was there) and then heads to the hospital with Nick. They immediately start her on pitocin & Maren is born at 6:03 p.m. weighing in at 7 lbs. 10 oz. and 20 in. long (not bad for a week overdue!).
