June 19, 2008

I had to share some photos of my beautiful rose bush (before it went the way of all the earth). This rose bush has particular sentimental value because my sweet Relief Society sisters gave it to me when we adopted Shaylee and Devin--and it blooms every year on our anniversary. Aren't they the most gorgeous roses?

We're staying at "Grandma and Papa's" house tonight because Dennis and I are going to my nephew Carson's sealing tomorrow in the Manti Temple and the kids would rather stay and swim than sit outside. Here is a picture of Aspen reading with Papa:

Another Shaylee self-portrait:

The roses are pretty. We don't grow them here becuase the humidity brings too many bugs and fungi that kill them off. That aquarium looked pretty fun.
